About
Tobie Puttock
Chef | Author | Food Systems Thinker
Tobie Puttock is a chef, author, and food systems thinker with over 30 years of experience across some of the world's most respected kitchens.
His career began in Melbourne before taking him to Italy and London's River Café, where he cooked alongside Jamie Oliver. That partnership led to the launch of Fifteen London — a groundbreaking social enterprise training disadvantaged youth, named Tatler's Restaurant of the Year in 2003 — and later Fifteen Melbourne, where Tobie brought the same model home.
He has authored five cookbooks published across more than 25 countries, and has appeared on Australian and international television including My Kitchen Rules, Ready Steady Cook, Iron Chef America, and Jamie's Kitchen Australia.
Today, Tobie's focus is on food systems — specifically how commercial kitchens can reduce waste, improve margins, and operate more sustainably without adding complexity. He is currently building CK Core, a kitchen waste tracking and food cost intelligence platform for global hospitality.
His work sits at the intersection of culinary craft, operational thinking, food tech, and genuine purpose — because the best food systems are ones that work for people, not just in spite of them.
